About

I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana and started theater in the second grade. I never realized how many doors a community theater production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer could open up. I continued to do theater through high school and chose to purse the arts in college. And now  I am a Senior Theatrical Studies major and Telecommunications minor at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

I have always believed that to be in the theater, you have to know everything that goes on within a production, so that is what I have set out to do. I have assistant directed Spring Awakening, Waiting For Godot, and Mame. I was the stage manager for Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead and Third and Oak: The Laundromat. This year, I have focused on writing plays and dramaturgy, currently working on Next to Normal. I am also the managing editor and writer with the blog for Camp Broadway in New York City, having interviewed Broadway actors Morgan James (Godspell, Motown the Musical) and Wallace Smith (Godspell, Choir Boy, Rocky the Musical). I hope to move to New York City after graduating next year to continue to purse my passion in the theater.
